Main area of research
Natural language & AI
My research during my PhD study is mainly focused on the field of semantic/ontology relevant techniques and natural language processing techniques. In detail, my research contributes to the field of the dynamic ontology engineering, various semantic matching algorithms and the text mining techniques; and also to the field of Instant Messaging (IM) based enhanced presence. It achieved a mutually beneficial development of two fields through interactions in their use of data and their functionality. Currently, my research within Nuance concentrates on the field of the improvement of the HMM-based NLU model; and the field of the measurement and the control of the time & memory consuming during the building process of the NLU model.
