Rosa Stern is a Natural Language Understanding Engineer working in the French team. Her research interests are in NLP, in particular Information Extraction and the intersection between linguistic analysis for semantic tagging and knowledge representation. After studying languages and linguistics, Rosa worked as a doctoral researcher at the French news agency Agence-France Presse where she participated in the implementation of a linguistic analysis processing chain, including entity tagging, entity linking, quotation extraction and the population of a dedicated knowledge base.She attended University Paris Diderot where she received a M.Sc. degree in Computational Linguistics and a Ph.D. in Linguistics, focused on the relations between Knowledge Representation, Semantic Tagging and symbolic and statistical methods used in NLP.
