Xiang Li received his bachelor's degree in Automation from Harbin Institute of Technology in China in 2008, and after that he continued his Master's program in Shanghai University in Pattern Recognition where he focused on the research of Speech Emotion Recognition technologies. In 2011, he got his Master's degree and then he went to Johns Hopkins University to continue the study of speech signal processing while affiliated with Center for Language and Speech Processing(CLSP). In 2013, he got another Master's degree, and started to work as a NLU developer in Nuance. His main research interests are in machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling. During spare time, he would like to play fingerstyle guitar music, cooking, and meditating.
