Karin Lin holds a B.S. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of California at Berkeley where her research focused on mechanical properties of materials. Since then, she has worked as a software/research engineer in a variety of fields, including semiconductor design and manufacturing, satellite control, educational technology, robotics, and now natural language processing. Karin currently works on named entity aggregation for advanced content search.
