Jean-François is a Natural Language Processing Research Engineer in Dialog Technology at Nuance since 2012. Previously, he was a research agent at the Computer Research Institute of Montréal, providing help on Natural Language Processing and machine learning project to several local startup and small enterprise. He holds a B.Sc in computer science and software engineer from UQAM and a master in computer science from UdM where he worked on cross-languages unsupervised morphological analysis algorithm. His research interests are in the areas of machine learning, dialog management and features extraction for data-driven NLU task. In between his B.Sc and master, he was a software designer working on driver for video hardware.
