I am a PhD student at the University of Mannheim. My research is concerned with finding faster inference methods for Markov logic and applying Markov logic for tasks in data integration. Markov Logic is a template language for Markov Logic Networks. It basically assigns weights to first order logic formulas. In particular, I am improving the efficiency of the maximum a-posteriori inference by developing new meta-algorithms for efficient translation to integer linear problems (ILP). These meta algorithms leverage symmetries of state-of-the-art ILP solvers. http://www.jan-noessner.de/
