Frederic Ratle is a Manager in the Clinical Language Understanding group, currently leading the group’s Performance Analysis effort.  His research interests are in the areas of machine learning and data mining, and their applications in clinical NLP.   Frederic has previously held research positions at Nuance in the areas of data mining and analytics, NLP, and embedded speech recognition.  He holds a B.Eng. and M.Sc. from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, and a PhD from the University of Lausanne.
